Prince Harry, Meghan Markle enjoy star-studded date in first pics since coronation

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been seen for the first time since his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it trip to London for King Charles III’s coronation.

In photos first published by TMZthe couple stepped out for a sushi date on Friday, less than one week after Charles was officially crowned.

However, Page Six is told that they weren’t actually solo.

We’re told they dined with Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, TV producer, Brad Falchuk. The foursome was also accompanied by Cameron Diaz and her husband, Benji Madden, as well as the CEO and founder of Bumble, Whitney Wolf Herd, and her husband, Texas oil heir Michael Herd.

In 2021, Wolfe Herd became the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire after taking Bumble public. Forbes estimated her net worth at approximately $1.5 billion.

The pair appeared to be on a date night, as they were spotted without their two kids.

The “Suits” alum, 41, stunned in a brown Heidi Merrick mini satin dress, which featured long, tailored sleeves. She paired the ensemble with an off-white bucket bag from Cesta Collective, and a pair of brown leather Hermes slides.

Markle completed the look by slicking her long hair back into a ponytail and adding a pair of gold earrings.

The father of two — who shares son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 1 — with the former actress, cut an equally chic figure in a pair of white pants, a black T-shirt and suede brown shoes.

Their sighting at the swanky Sushi Bar in Santa Barbara, Calif. marks their first appearance since Harry jetted in and out of the U.K. within 28 hours for his father’s coronation.

In fact, his brief appearance at the historic event last Saturday left many members of the royal family wondering why he even bothered to show up at all.

A source close to the family told Vanity Fair“One makes one’s choices. To be honest there wasn’t much talk of Harry at all. The focus was very much on the occasion.”

The royal insider even told the outlet that Harry, 38, did not see or speak to his estranged family outside of the televised ceremony.

The Duke of Sussex arrived in London Friday afternoon and left just over 24 hours later and before the celebrations had even wrapped up. Meanwhile, Markle skipped out on the coronation festivities altogether.

Harry’s quick exit was believed to be linked to his desire to make it home for Archie’s 4th birthday party, which happened to fall on the same day.

Harry and Markle resigned from their royal duties in 2020 after marrying in 2018. They have since moved to California and spoken out against the royal family in Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” and their Netflix show, “Harry & Meghan.”
