Iggy Azalea hasn’t thought about how she feels about Onyx Kelly’s birthday coming up. The “Black Widow” rapper’s latest social media post on Wednesday morning told fans about the news. The singer, who has the child with Playboi Carti, said the baby will be born in June 2020. This got a lot of attention from fans, especially since she and her baby daddy broke up the year before.
Even though Azalea’s baby daddy hasn’t helped her in any way, she has still loved and cared for their kid. In an Instagram Story update, the proud mother told fans that the two-year-old’s third birthday is coming up soon. She posted a picture of what looked like a poor painting with Onyx in the middle and an image that looked like Mickey Mouse.

The boy is wearing a ‘Spider-Man’ mask and a blue shirt. The artwork was put on another piece of cardboard next to drawings of an octopus and three different kinds of fish. The winner of the American Music Awards wrote in the blue text layer, “My best friend will be three next week, and I’m already feeling something about it.”
Fans aren’t sure if Azalea was thinking about the past, but they do know she was very happy when she shared a picture of her son on his first day of preschool with them earlier this month. In the picture, Onyx had both hands in the air and was looking away from the camera. For the big event, he wore a bright two-piece that included a wide polo shirt and shorts.
His school bag was brightly painted, and he had a lot of beads in his braided hair. The almost three-year-old finished off his outfit with white socks that squeaked and shoes that matched. At the bottom of the post, his proud mother wrote, “My baby’s first day of preschool, and I just can’t take it.!!!”
The winner of the BET Hip Hop Awards said that getting her son’s name tattooed on her body was a way to respect him. The realistic tattoo, done by Lua Hills, showed Onyx as an angel with wings and a sash. “Onyx Orion” was written in big letters around the middle of the picture.
Even though commenters have been critical of her rocky relationship with Carti, Azalea has stayed quiet and calm. In February, she did the opposite and went on Emily Ratajkowski’s “High Low with EmRata” show to talk about some important moments in her life, like why she joined “OnlyFans” and becoming a mother.
At one point, Ratajkowski asked about her personal life and asked if she was meeting anyone. The “XXXTRA” singer said, “No, not really.” I went on a few dates last year, and it was fun. I’ve been single since the beginning of 2020. Soon after having my son, I left his father.”
The 32-year-old Australian woman said she decided to end her relationship with the “Vamp Anthem” rapper after “something” bad happened between them. She didn’t say what it was. “It was just one of those days where I didn’t wake up expecting it to be my day,” she says.
“But by the end of the day, I was on my way to Los Angeles, and I never went back, and that was the end of it.” The NME Award winner said that the relationship was hard for her and reminded her of a similar situation with her parents.
She didn’t want anything to do with it. Most of all, the rapper wanted to keep Onyx away from these horrible acts so that he would “never learn this.” The Blast says that when the “Fancy” singer heard that Carti had been arrested, she had a lot to say.
The 26-year-old was arrested because he reportedly choked his pregnant girlfriend during a fight in December.
Azalea wrote on Twitter in response to the allegations, “Imagine having a pregnant girlfriend and pretending they don’t exist until it comes out you like to abuse them too – and rarely visiting your actual son unless you’re running away from problems in Atlanta and the press with your repeated abuse of women.”
