An unseen pic from pre-Miss India days shows Priyanka Chopra as she used to look: 'My mom knew her in Bareilly'

A young woman shared old photos of Priyanka Chopra from the 1990s before she became Miss World 2000. She was really touched to learn that her mother and Priyanka knew each other.

In a recent Instagram post, a fan revealed that her mother knew Priyanka Chopra back in the 90s during her Bareilly days. The young fan seemed amazed that her mother and actress knew each other.

Priyanka Chopra just told me she knew her in Bareilly in the 1990s, according to her video posted on Instagram Reels set to Desi Girl from Dostana in 2008. A few pictures show Priyanka and her mother hanging out at a party in a striped top and black pants. You can also see them sitting next to one another and drinking drinks together.

At age 18, Priyanka completed her education at the Army Public School in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, where she was Miss India 2000 runner-up and Miss World 2000. To highlight violence and discrimination against girls, the actor returned to the state last month as a UNICEF ambassador.

Her first film was with Vijay in Thamizhan (2002). She made her Bollywood debut a year later in The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy, with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. From 2015 to 2018, she was the first Indian actor to lead a US TV show Quantico. She made her Hollywood film debut with Baywatch in 2017, where she starred with Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, and Zac Efron.

A few years ago, she starred in the sci-fi film The MatrMatrix Resurrections with Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Lambert Wilson. Her next movie is Love Again, which stars Sam Heughan, and she’ll be in Prime Video’s big-budget action show Citadel with Richard Madden next year.

In response to POPSUGAR’s question about which one she liked best, she laughed, “That’s a tough question; that’s not fair!”

In spite of that, she did mention some of her favorite outfits, like this Ritu Kumar sari at the Marrakesh Film Festival, which was black, all waist, and super sexy. I loved that one. My first Met Gala look was my favorite too. I felt like I was on top of the world wearing that outfit.

I felt like a real-life dancing emoji. I wore this red Jason Wu dress to the Emmys too. I twirled through the carpet like a dancing emoji. That one made me feel good.”

Chopra told the Financial Express ahead of Anomaly hitting the shelves soon that she wants to leave a lasting legacy, from acting to fashion. In her words, she said, “I try to give my audiences something different and I’m so glad they love me in every way possible and that motivates me to keep doing more for them.
